I have really enjoyed my time at Exeter. It was hard to start but I quickly got used to the different teaching methods and the work load and I am loving time at Exeter now. All the staff are very approachable which really helps. The social life is great, and I have met so many great new friends!
I have been involved in extra-curricular activities. I have become a major part of the radio station 'Xpression fm'. Since Christmas I have had my own radio show on a Saturday evening and after our recent AGM I have been voted onto the committee as Head of Technical. I have also been involved with RAG helping to run 'Exeter Got Talent'. I have also DJ'd at the student union club night twice, performing in front of 1000 people! As a first year you can see it is not hard to do what you want!
I love the people here, everyone is really friendly. The campus is really nice, it looks beautiful and very green. There are so many opportunities; no one is scared to let you have a go at something.
I chose Exeter because of the campus, the staff that I met in SECaM on the open day and the topics and projects that would be studied as part of my programme.
At the end of my degree I hope to use it in either sound engineering or in motorsport.
